George Stamkoski Creative Director : Writer : Cross-Platform Producer
George brings into play over 25 years of international experience producing and directing broadcast, corporate, educational and public information media projects.
After studying at the Munich Film School and Berlin University of the Arts, he reported extensively on the wars in former Yugoslavia for BBC World Service, international TV networks, the UN Division of Information, United Nations TV and diverse publications.
George worked as associate producer and assistant director on an array of German and British movies before directing factual entertainment, reportage and documentary projects for TV networks in the UK, USA, Germany, France, the Balkans, the Middle East and Australia.
Past and current corporate clients span the finance, travel, lifestyle, mobile phone, music and fashion industries.
He has also advised world leaders and produced political media for United Nations TV, the European Commission, the UK Foreign Office, USAID, politicians and diverse NGOs such as the Soros Foundation.
George’s multi-lingual talents led to UK government support to build corporate partnerships while producing Arabic media projects in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Morocco. Read interview in the Saudi business magazine Alam Arrajol in 2011.
He participated in the Skillset Indie Development Scheme in 2007, the Gateway to Global Growth Programme run by UK Trade and Investment, which included a Cass Business School Executive Development Programme in 2011 and 2012. These activities led to a comprehensive business plan for operating as a cross-platform producer while deploying British creative industry expertise in the UK and abroad.
A disciple of lifelong learning, George gives back as a guest media lecturer at UK colleges and is currently completing an MA in Creative Media Leadership at Goldsmiths and Bournemouth Universities.
