Volatile Media filmed three UK government sponsored investment conference convened by the London-based Middle East Association. The entire proceedings and key interviews were shot while developing a reality business TV series profiling Western and Middle Eastern entrepreneurs.
The Oman Trade and Investment Forum at London’s Mansion House took place on 21 October 2010 during the 40th anniversary of the Omani Royal Family’s succession. 60 senior industry delegates from Oman took part. We interviewed key British government ministers, and Baroness Symons, Chairman of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, plus Omani and other international speakers.

With £2.6bn of visible UK exports in 2009, speakers highlighted the UK as the second largest foreign investor in Saudi Arabia, the Gulf’s biggest economy. Britain is a key partner in Riyadh’s Saudization Programme, providing education, training and investment aimed at empowering the country’s youthful population of 26 million people.
